Trust me! I'm your new Chairman

I'm not exactly new, i've been here before but as of 11th March this year at our AGM you kindly re-elected me as your Chairman. I hope that i will be able to bring all that you need from me to the position and look forward with some trepedation to the next few years. With the help of a strong committee that i now have the support of i'm sure we will all move forward together as a branch.

The next few months are set to be rather exciting as we have recently widened our boundaries to include Petersfield. The people of Petersfield have historically been in what is commonly known as "a black hole" when it came to The MS Society. With a bit of help from the regional committee and Sue Hannaford from headquarters we have managed to adjust branch boundaries and overcome some of the bureaucracy allowing us to share our expertise and experience with the people of Petersfield whilst tapping into thier enthusiasm. I can only see this leading to good things and we should now be known as The Alton and Petersfield branch of the MS Society.

So, please don't be shy, come along to meet us and you will find that there is plenty that in one way or another we can offer.
